Cookie Policy

Overview

Exposite uses a small number of cookies that are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use cookies for advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Cookies we use

The following cookies are set when you use Exposite:

CookiePurposeDuration
sb-*-auth-tokenAuthentication session. Keeps you signed in so you do not need to re-enter your credentials on each page.Session / 7 days
sb-*-auth-token-code-verifierUsed during the magic link sign-in process to verify the authentication code. Removed after sign-in completes.Temporary

These cookies are set by Supabase, our authentication provider. They are HttpOnly and Secure, meaning they cannot be accessed by JavaScript and are only transmitted over encrypted connections.

Why we do not show a cookie consent banner

Under GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, cookies that are strictly necessary for a service to function do not require consent. All cookies used by Exposite fall into this category: they exist solely to keep you signed in. Without them, authentication would not work.

We do not use any optional cookies (analytics, advertising, social media, or performance tracking). If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and introduce a consent mechanism before setting any non-essential cookies.

Third-party cookies

Exposite does not embed third-party services that set their own cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels, advertising networks, or similar tracking technologies.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. However, if you block the authentication cookies listed above, you will not be able to sign in to Exposite.
